Een eenvoudige slot blot methode werd ontwikkeld voor de kwantificering van influenza virale hemagglutinine en neuraminidase met behulp van universele antilichamen gericht hun meest geconserveerde sequenties geïdentificeerd door middel van bioinformatica analyses. Deze innovatieve aanpak kan een nuttig alternatief voor de kwantitatieve bepaling van alle virale hemagglutinine en neuraminidase.
