Deze methodologie is gericht op het evalueren van biomateriaal cytotoxiciteit door de bereiding van oplosbare extracten, met behulp van levensvatbaarheidstests en fenotypische analyse, waaronder flowcytometrie, RT-PCR, immunocytochemie en andere cellulaire en moleculaire biologietechnieken.
