Hier gepresenteerd is een protocol voor het toevoegen van peptide CD47 (pepCD47) aan metalen stents met behulp van polybisfosfonaat chemie. Functionalisatie van metalen stents met behulp van pepCD47 voorkomt de bevestiging en activering van ontstekingscellen waardoor hun biocompatibiliteit wordt verbeterd.
