An underwriter helps businesses raise long-term capital by efficiently pricing and distributing securities.

When choosing an underwriter, companies should assess their reputation and experience.

For instance, a firm like Morgan Stanley is known for its robust track record in handling large-scale initial public offerings, which can be a decisive factor in attracting investors.

Additionally, the underwriter's distribution network is essential.

A broad distribution network provides access to a diverse group of investors, enhancing the likelihood of a successful capital raise. Large underwriters often attract institutional investors, like pension funds or mutual funds.

Goldman's reputation and distribution capabilities could help ensure a successful bond issuance
