Genetic Analysis of Hereditary Transthyretin Ala97Ser Related Amyloidosis

Here, we present a protocol to confirm the presence of point mutation for the diagnosis of hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis, using Ala97Ser, the most common endemic mutation in Taiwan, as an example.
