Quantitative Analysis

Количественный анализ определяет количество одной или нескольких составляющих образца, состав которого часто известен. Если нет, то проводится предварительный качественный анализ для выявления его составляющих.
При количественном анализе результат оценивается на основе двух измерений – количественной оценки образца и пропорционального измерения величины, относящейся к анализируемому веществу.
Количественный анализ можно классифицировать на классические и инструментальные методы.
Классические методы оценивают массу или объем анализируемого вещества или его производного, полученного в результате химической реакции с реагентом. В отличие от этого, инструментальные методы исследуют физическую природу анализируемого вещества при его взаимодействии с электромагнитным излучением.
Поскольку для количественного анализа используются различные образцы и приборы, необходима калибровка детекторов. Затем с использованием кювет, содержащих различные известные количества одного и того же аналита, строится калибровочный график, который затем помогает определить неизвестную концентрацию аналита в образце.

Количественный анализ

Количественный анализ — это метод измерения количества определенных компонентов в образце. Когда состав образца неизвестен, сначала выполняется качественный анализ позволяющий идентифицировать его компоненты, что гарантирует измерение правильных веществ во время количественной фазы.

В количественном анализе выполняются два ключевых измерения: количество образца и свойство, пропорциональное количеству аналита (анализируемого вещества). Эти измерения составляют основу метода и обеспечивают точность определения концентрации аналита.

Количественный анализ можно разделить на два основных типа: классические методы и инструментальные методы. Классические методы включают измерение массы или объема аналита или его химически полученной формы. measuring analyte concentration

Quantitative analysis measures the amount of a specific substance, called the analyte, in a sample. If the sample composition is unknown, qualitative analysis comes first. That step identifies the components so the correct substances can be measured during the quantitative phase.

This method depends on two key measurements. Scientists measure the sample quantity and also a property that is proportional to the amount of analyte. Together, these measurements help determine the analyte concentration accurately.

Quantitative analysis is usually grouped into classical methods and instrumental methods. Classical methods measure mass or volume, either of the analyte itself or of a chemically derived form. Gravimetric analysis is one example. It measures the mass of a precipitate formed in a chemical reaction with the analyte. Titration is another classical method. It measures the volume of a reactant needed to fully react with the analyte.

Instrumental methods use the analyte’s interaction with physical forces, such as electromagnetic radiation. In spectrophotometry, concentration is found by measuring how much light the sample absorbs. Atomic absorption spectroscopy uses the amount of light absorbed by atoms in the sample to show the analyte concentration.

Calibration curves are a major part of quantitative analysis. Detectors and instruments are calibrated with known concentrations of the analyte, often placed in cuvettes. These known values are used to make a calibration plot. The plot helps scientists find the concentration of the unknown analyte in the sample and improves the accuracy of the analysis.
