Oddball Stimuli Reveal Brain Attention Signals

Description

The oddball task uses rare, unexpected stimuli to study how the brain directs attention. The brain often ignores repeated or constant input and responds more strongly to events that are new or relevant to a current goal. This makes oddball stimuli useful for examining which signals stand out during perception.
