Types of Stressors

Stressors refer to events that cause stress and can be grouped into three main categories: catastrophes, significant life changes, and daily hassles, including social stress.

Lastly, daily hassles, such as minor frustrations, delays, irritations, and disagreements, account for most of the stress people experience daily.

These seemingly small annoyances can significantly impact immediate health, contributing to conditions like headaches, colds, and backaches.

Additionally, social stress, stemming from interactions and constant social media notifications, exacerbates these daily frustrations and affects overall well-being.
