Wen He
Guangdong Engineering Technological Research Center of Clinical Molecular Diagnosis and Antibody Drugs, Meizhou Academy of Medical Sciences, Meizhou People’s Hospital.
Dr. Wen He obtained his PhD in 2022 from the Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University, China. Throughout his doctoral studies, he was mentored by Dr. Xiaoxi Sun and Prof. Hexin Yan. His research focused on developing a long-term cultivation system for human endometrial epithelial stem cells and evaluating their potential for treating intrauterine adhesion. After completing his PhD, Dr. He continued his academic journey as a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Zhiling Li at Shantou University Medical College. Currently, his research interests center around the establishment of patient-specific endometrial organoids and investigating the underlying mechanisms of endometriosis.

Fangjie Jiang
The Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, Kunming, China
Fangjie Jiang earned her PhD from the Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her doctoral research centered on utilizing embryonic stem cells as a model to explore mechanisms that uphold genomic stability during embryonic development. Recently, her research findings regarding the role of alternative splicing in maintaining the accuracy of DNA replication processes and DNA damage repair pathways in embryonic stem cells were published in PNAS. Her research primarily concentrates on genetic factors associated with oocyte development and maturation disorders, as well as embryo development arrest. Furthermore, she conducts analyses of key molecular modules involved in embryonic development, significantly contributing to our understanding of infertility pathogenesis.
Infertility significantly impacts women's quality of life, and its global incidence rate has been steadily increasing over time. According to a recent report by the World Health Organization, approximately 17.5% of adults, constituting about one-sixth of the global population, experience infertility at some point in their lives. The advancement of assisted reproductive technology has significantly enhanced the pregnancy rate for infertile women. Nonetheless, there is considerable potential for improvement in various areas, such as diagnostic techniques, treatment methods, and laboratory manipulation of embryos. Simultaneously, conducting fundamental research on female infertility, which includes oocyte development, embryo adhesion, and the study of uterine endometrial-like organs, can generate novel evidence and ideas to improve clinical treatments for female infertility.
