Collection Overview

Renal fibrosis is a critical aspect of chronic kidney disease (CKD), leading to progressive loss of kidney function and eventual organ failure. Understanding the mechanisms underlying renal fibrosis and developing effective treatment strategies are imperative due to the significant burden CKD imposes on global public health and healthcare systems. This Methods Collection aims to address these challenges by providing a comprehensive overview of research methods for studying renal fibrosis. By compiling insights into animal models, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions, this collection will serve as a valuable resource for researchers and clinicians alike, facilitating the advancement of knowledge in this crucial area and ultimately contributing to improved diagnosis and management of renal fibrosis and its associated conditions.
