National Institute of Technology Warangal

Dr. Krishna Prakash Yadav is an accomplished researcher specializing in robotics and control systems. He is an Assistant Professor at NIT Warangal. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UPTU Lucknow, India, and went on to pursue a master's at NIT Bhopal, India in Mechanical Design focused on Vibrational analysis of components. His passion for robots led him to IIT Hyderabad, where he earned his Ph.D. in Aug-2023. His thesis dissertation is “Underactuated Biped Robot for Fault Tolerance and Intelligent Balancing”.  His research mostly focuses on robots with fewer actuators to make them efficient under different scenarios using advanced control and machine learning algorithms. Before December 2024, Dr. Yadav was working as an a faculty member at VIT Chennai, where he teaches and conducts research in the School of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to it, he held a teaching position at Gitam University, Hyderabad. His research interests include multibody dynamics, machine learning, and nonlinear dynamics, with a specific emphasis on control algorithms for robots. Dr. Krishna Prakash Yadav is actively involved in several research projects and has contributed significantly to international conferences and journals.
