Dr. Alisdair Fernie is a group leader in the Department of Molecular Physiology at the Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology and an Honorary Professor at the University of Potsdam. His research interests include mitochondrial energy metabolism, genetics underpinning metabolic regulation, spatiotemporal regulation of metabolism, metabolomics, genomics, and metabolic engineering.
