Dr. Sarah Little-Letsinger is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her MS and PhD in Exercise Physiology at Texas A&M University in 2017 and 2020, respectively. Dr. Little-Letsinger’s research focuses on the interrelationship between bone, marrow adipose tissue, and stem cells, with a particular emphasis on the roles of inflammation and exercise in modulating the cellular dynamics within the bone marrow niche. A primary focus of her work is understanding the mechanisms governing exercise-mediated effects on bone and the marrow niche using exercise interventions in animal models.
