Dr. Jiansheng Huang graduated from Auburn University, Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2015 and is currently a research fellow in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Jiansheng has a scientific research background in the interdisciplinary fields of cardiovascular medicine, lipid metabolism, macrophage biology, chronic metabolic diseases. Dr. Huang also serves on the editorial board of the journal Frontiers in Pharmacology. His recent work is mainly focused on the study of the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis, type II diabetes, and cardiovascular drug development. Jiansheng has published about 20 papers in top international journals such as Nature Communications, Clinical and Translational Medicine, Seminars in Cancer Biology, Annual Reviews: Pharmacology& Toxicology, and Journal of Leukocyte Biology in the past five years.
