Dr. Marta Kolonko-Adamska received her PhD in the field of Chemistry from the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland) in 2020. Her PhD thesis was titled “Molecular analysis of the C-terminal fragments of Methoprene tolerant and Germ cell-expressed receptors from Drosophila melanogaster”.

During her studies, Dr. Kolonko-Adamska did multiple research internships with Professor M. Sattler in Helmholtz Zentrum München (Germany) at the Institute of Structural Biology. She was part of projects aimed at rational drug discovery. The results were published in a high impact factor journal (Science, J Med Chem.). Since 2018 she is the leader of two grants financed by National Science Center Poland (NCN). Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology, Faculty of Chemistry, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland). Her research interests focus mainly on the structural biochemistry, structure-function relationship of intrinsically disordered proteins, transcription regulation, proteins interactions, and liquid-liquid phase separation analysis.
