Dr. Aneta Tarczewska is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology since 2016. She studied Biomedical Science at Robert Gordon University in Scotland. She completed her graduate project at the University of Palermo. Next, she finished postgraduate studies in Instrumental Analytical Science at The Robert Gordon University. She obtained her PhD in biochemistry at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Her thesis titled “Analysis of structural complexity of Chd64 and FKBP39 from Tribolium castaneum” presents the results of the analysis of proteins involved in the regulation of a dynamic multiprotein complex that regulates gene expression in insect cells.

Dr. Tarczewska is focused on understanding the structure-function relationship of intrinsically disordered proteins associated with gene regulation processes. She is particularly interested in the properties of proteins belonging to FK-506 immunophilins and bHLH family of transcription factors.

Dr. Aneta Tarczewska is a publishing scientist, participating in various international conferences. She also serves as a reviewer in internationally recognized journals. She improves her qualifications continuously by participating in a wide range of training and courses. She is a member of the Polish Biochemical Society, contributing to the popularization of science.
