Dr. Jorge Lopes Storniolo is a Researcher in the Department of Pathophysiology and Transplantation at the University of Milan (Milan, ITA). Previously, Dr. Storniolo obtained his PhD in Integrated Biomedical Research from the same institution in 2018 within the lab of Physiomechanics of Locomotion. At the University of Milan, Dr. Storniolo heads the Laboratory of the Neurophysiology of Vegetative System and Exercise, conducting projects involving physiologic variables applying to gait technologies. His projects have assisted researchers, trainers, and physicians to find new results for their public through new training protocols and practical tests. In this way, the background in biomechanics and bioenergetics of human locomotion enabled him to develop innovative tools for gait evaluation.
