Mario D’Oria completed his MD from the University of Perugia Medical School – Italy in the year 2013. In 2019, he completed his residency in the field of vascular and endovascular surgery from the University of Padova Medical School – Italy. He is a consultant vascular surgeon and PhD student in the Univesity Hospital of Trieste – Italy from November 2020 – till date. He achieved his research fellowship from the Mayo Clinic Gonda Vascular Center – Rochester MN, USA in 2018/2019 and Advanced Endovascular Aortic Fellowship from the University Hospital of Uppsala – Sweden in 2019/2020. He is an Editorial Board Member of Annals of Vascular Surgery – Elsevier. He is also a co-editor of the book "Complications and Failures of Endovascular Surgery" – Minerva Medica Publishing – Italy. He is a Member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Working Group on Cardiovascular Surgery and European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS) Writing Committee for Clinical Practice Guidelines on AortoIliac Disease. He is also a Stakeholder Member of the Aortic Dissection Collaborative.
