Dr. Teixeira obtained his PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry in 2000 at the Federal University of São Carlos. Currently, he is an associate professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at São Paulo State University (UNESP) – Campus of Presidente Prudente. His research interests include the development of chemical sensing concepts, electrochemical sensors based on polymeric sensing phases and environmental electroanalytical. He has worked on chemosensors with transduction by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
