Dr. Sohini Chakraborty is a Postdoctoral Fellow at New York University Grossman School of Medicine, where she is investigating the molecular mechanisms driving cellular heterogeneity in normal and malignant hematopoietic stem cells, together with her mentor Dr. Christopher Park. With a PhD in Bioinformatics, and Molecular Biology from University of Calcutta, she is employing experimental and computational data driven integrative approaches to investigate the molecular frameworks that regulate hematopoietic stem cell function, and identify pivotal stemness associated molecular factors that go functionally awry with age, and during myeloid malignancies, and other hematological diseases.
