Since completion of his PhD in Bioengineering (2015, University of Queensaland) Dr Fletcher has focused his research program on the design and study of novel nanomedicines as probes for disease and carriers for therapeutic delivery. He is particularly interested in understanding and developing approaches to modulate the complex bio-nano interactions which occur within the body and employs an array of molecular imaging approaches to implement this. Through his extensive industry collaborations, he has also developed a portfolio of translational research efforts through which clinical outcomes are becoming realized.
