Dr. Oprişoreanu, PhD. is a post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden, Germany. She obtained her PhD at the University of Bonn, Germany, where she studied the interactome of two presynaptic proteins, RIM1a and SV2A. As a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Edinburgh, UK, she investigated the role of chondrolectin in axon growth in zebrafish. Her current research is focusing on the molecular mechanisms of neuroregeneration in zebrafish spinal cord.
