Dr. Chandran Suja’s research at Harvard University and Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering is broadly focussed on exploring transport properties and rheological characteristics of biointerfaces motivated by unmet needs in advanced theranostics. Currently, he is working on utilizing recent developments in organ-on-chips and cellular therapies to improve the delivery of monoclonal antibodies and develop new in vivo diagnostic tools. Prior to joining Harvard, he obtained a PhD working with Prof. Gerry Fuller at Stanford studying the mechanics of thin liquid films in different scenarios such as in non-aqueous foams, protein-laden interfaces, and the human tear film.
