Dr. Vaibhao Janbandhu completed his PhD from International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, New Delhi, India & Trieste, Italy. His thesis work in the Virology group focused on the cell cycle regulation by hepatitis B virus. He then joined as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Department of Molecular Medicine, Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Martinsried, Germany, where he developed and worked on mouse model of skin cancer. In 2013, he joined the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, Sydney, Australia, as Senior Postdoctoral Scientist and St Vincent's Clinical School, UNSW Sydney , Sydney, Australia, as Conjoint Lecturer.
