Dr Andrea Tagliani is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Biosciences, University of Milan, Italy, in the group of Prof. Pesaresi and Prof. Masiero. One of the focuses of the group is the development of combinatorial libraries of linear and cyclic peptides to be used in interactomic screening. The group aims to isolate peptides targeting proteins of interest, to be used as antimicrobials, with a drug discovery approach. The group also aims to exploit peptides to engineer protein-protein interactions within the synthetic biology framework.
