Dr. Salti worked on several neuroscientific topics during his research career, including stem cell biology, Parkinson's disease, brain development, drug addiction, and recently Ophthalmology. He acquired his PhD in Neuroscience at the Medical University Innsbruck, Austria. He then conducted his research at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, and Innsbruck Medical University, Austria. The research of Dr. Salti mainly focuses on harnessing the potential of patient-specific stem cells for biomedical applications such as disease modeling and cell therapy.
