Dr. Yun Yu obtained his PhD in Chemistry from the City University of New York in 2016. During his graduate research, he developed nanoscale electrochemical techniques for studies of single nanoparticle electrochemistry. After completion of his doctorate, Dr. Yu became a postdoctoral researcher at Temple University and conducted research on surface plasmon-mediated photoelectrochemistry. Currently, Dr. Yu is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley with a research focus on the electrochemistry of two–dimensional van der Waals heterostructures.
