Anna Salamero-Boix completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Lleida, Spain, and obtained her Master’s degree in Molecular Biomedicine at the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain. During her studies she focused on underlying resistance to common therapeutics in glioma. Currently, she is a PhD student in the laboratory of Dr. Lisa Sevenich at the Georg-Speyer-Haus in Frankfurt, Germany. In her doctoral studies she examines the role of anti-inflammatory pathways and its combination to current standard of care in brain metastases.
