Dr. Jongsun Kim is an assistant professor at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, School of Earth, Environmental, and Marine Sciences (SEEMS) expert in coastal system models and marine biogeochemistry. He is currently working on completing the final testing of the entire 3D CoSiNE model implementation in Narragansett Bay. Also, he is developing an intermediate model parametrization performance for benthic ecology in which he is running a 1D CoSiNE benthic-pelagic model to build the benthos module of the model.
