Edna Ribeiro is a senior lecturer at Lisbon School of Health Technology (ESTeSL) - Lisbon Polytechnic Institute, Portugal from the following programs: BSc in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, Masters in Clinical-Laboratory Technologies and Masters in Molecular Technologies in Health and MOOC Introduction to Epigenetics. Her courses include Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Hematology, Infertility and Endocrine Disruptors and Epigenetics. She is currently a researcher at the Health and Technology Research Center (H&TRC) – Lisbon in which she develops research in the following areas: Human Biomonitoring to Endocrine Disruptors, Occupational exposure to bioburden, Natural compounds epigenetic potential for reactivation of γ-globin gene expression and Fetal Hemoglobin induction, Adjuvant therapies for resistant microorganisms and optimization and improvement of Microbiology Methods.
