Dr. Manasa Nune is an Assistant Professor at the Manipal Institute of Regenerative Medicine (MIRM), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru, since 2017. She worked during her Ph.D. period to develop nanofibrous scaffolds for peripheral nerve regeneration at the Center for Nanotechnology & Advance Biomaterials (CeNTAB), SASTRA University, Thanjavur. Post that, she worked as Research Associate at the Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advance Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, on conducting biomaterials for the application in CNS regeneration and spinal cord injuries. She is currently exploring the areas of stem cell research for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering using novel biomaterial scaffolds, their modifications, and decellularized matrices by electrospinning and 3D bioprinting technologies.
