Dr. Kristoffer Mazanti Cold is a Ph.D.-alumni of Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES), Rigshospitalet, and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. His research focuses on finding objective assessment measures of endoscopic disciplines and utilizing these to enhance medical education and performance. As novice bronchoscopist desire more feedback when learning the procedure, he has developed an automatic and objective assessment of scope handling: The Motor Bronchoscopy Skills Score and the Structured Progression Score, indicating a systematic inspection of the bronchial tree. The goal is to develop a fully automatic training, assessment, and feedback system in bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound sampling (EBUS) based on artificial intelligence.
