Dr. Rajebhosale received his PhD in neuroscience from Stony Brook University, NY in 2019, studying modulation of learned and innate threat responses by the basal forebrain cholinergic system. He started his postdoctoral work at NIH in 2019, working on understanding the role of transcriptional regulation by the Nrg1 intracellular domain, a nuclear protein generated by synaptogenic interactions, in developing brain circuits. His research interest lies in understanding the regulation of the neuronal genome by discrete neurodevelopmental events to uncover the regulatory logic of polygenic neurodevelopmental disorders.
