Dr. Qiankun Zuo received the PhD degree from the China University of Petroleum, Beijing, China, in 2018. He joined the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a post-doctor. He is currently working as an assistant professor at the Hubei University of Economics, Wuhan. In the past few years, he has focused on applying generative adversarial networks to multimodal medical imaging computing for brain disease analysis. He combined anatomical knowledge and data-driven models to identify disease-related brain regions from magnetic resonance imaging. He achieved an end-to-end framework to compute disease-related regions from multimodal medical images. The abnormal changes in these brain region-related connections have the potential to be biomarkers for clinical diagnosis and further treatment.
