Dr. Gambeta completed a bachelor's in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná in 2015. He completed his master's degree in pharmacology in the laboratory of Dr. Juliana G. Chichorro, and a PhD in Neuroscience in 2022 at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Dr. Gerald W. Zamponi. He did a short postdoctoral training in Dr. Tuan Trang's laboratory at the University of Calgary. Recently, he joined Dr. Michael Hildebrand's laboratory at Carleton University. His expertise lies in orofacial pain and voltage-gated calcium channels, with over ten years of experience with animal behavior.
