Philipp Tomsits is a clinician scientist currently receiving his specialist training in cardiology at the University Hospital Munich (LMU Klinikum). He graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU) in medicine in 2017 and obtained his doctoral degree in 2018, investigating a pig model of atrial fibrillation. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Göttingen (PI Niels Voigt) and is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Experimental and Translational Electrophysiology research group (PI Sebastian Clauss) at the University Hospital Munich (LMU Klinikum).
