Prof. Jian-Huan Chen is the head of the Precision and Genomic Medicine Laboratory at Jiangnan University. He is also the director of the Joint Primate Research Center for Chronic Diseases at Jiangnan University and the Institute of Zoology of Guangdong Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on microbe-host interactions, related mechanisms, and therapies for genetic diseases. Currently, he is interested in using multi-omics methods and non-human primate disease models to study the role and mechanism of microbe-host interactions in age-related diseases, particularly eye diseases. He has published over 50 papers in renowned journals such as Genomics Proteomics & Bioinformatics, Molecular Psychiatry, and PLOS Genetics. Additionally, he serves as an associate editor and guest editor for three SCI journals.
