I am a postdoctoral researcher working in the lab of Prof. Vitaly Citovsky at Stony Brook University. I received my Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from China Agricultural University with Laixin Luo in 2019 and worked as a postdoc with Tao Dong at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2020-2023. I study the dormant state and type VI secretion system of bacteria, as well as how they influence the pathogenicity and microbe-microbe interactions, respectively. My dissertation focused on the entry and resuscitation of viable but nonculturable state of Acidovorax citrull, a seed-borne bacterial pathogen on Cucurbitaceous crops. I joined Prof. Vitaly Citovsky's lab in 2023 and current projects focused on plant-virus interaction.
