Assist. Prof. Gizem Ince Kuka graduated from the Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 2009. She received her PhD degree in 2014 from Yeditepe University Health Science Institute, Department of Periodontology. She got the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) accreditation certificate in the field of periodontology and implantology in 2015. Between 2016 and 2023, she served as a faculty member at the Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry. Since September 2023, she has been working at the University of Health Sciences, Hamidiye Dental Faculty, Department of Periodontology. She is a member of many professional organizations, such as the Turkish Dental Association, the EFP, and the Dental Laser Academy. Dr. İnce Kuka is a member of the Education Commission of the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists. Her academic research fields include instruments, biomaterials, and lasers that are used in periodontology and implantology.
