Dr. Jin Su received her A.B in Biology from Shaanxi Normal University in 2001, and earn PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Fourth Military Medical University in 2009. Su has long focused on basic and translational research on pulmonary fibrosis signalling pathways and key molecules while using pulmonary fibrosis as an entry point to develop early diagnosis and precision treatment strategies for fibrosis-related diseases. She first proposed the availability of PET/CT for the detection of early pulmonary fibrosis, providing a sensitive visual early diagnostic technique for the evaluation of fibrotic activity in ILD patients. Su also studied the “hydroxyproline” problem in the bleomycin model, which provides a multi-dimensional technical tool for evaluating the severity of pulmonary fibrosis. Su is a researcher at Guangzhou National Laboratory- State Key Laboratory of Respiratory Disease currently and is also a professor at Guangzhou Medical University.
