Francisco Tustumi graduated in medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo. He completed his medical residency in General Surgery and Digestive System Surgery at the Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo. Francisco holds a master's degree, a doctorate, and a post-doctorate in gastroenterology. He currently serves as a preceptor in General Surgery at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and as a Digestive System Surgeon at the São Paulo State Cancer Institute. Francisco Tustumi has authored over 140 scientific publications, focusing on gastrointestinal surgery and evidence-based medicine.
