Dr. Erin Gloag completed her PhD at the University of Technology Sydney, under the supervision of Professor Cynthia Whitchurch and Dr. Lynne Turnbull. Her PhD research focused on understanding microbial collective behaviors during biofilm expansion. She moved to the United States to perform her postdoctoral research in Professor Daniel Wozniak’s lab at the Ohio State University. Her research, performed in collaboration with Professors Vaughn Cooper and Paul Stoodley, has focused on how Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms persist during infection. Dr. Gloag is now a Research Scientist in Professor Wozniak’s lab.
