Dr. Dai is a doctoral supervisor and the director of the Corneal Disease Department at the Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. He also serves as an adjunct professor and master's supervisor at the College of Mathematical Medicine, Zhejiang Normal University.

Dr. Dai specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular surface diseases, myopia laser surgery, and corneal transplantation. His expertise includes advanced procedures such as corneal crosslinking, SMILE, and T-PRK. Additionally, he has extensive clinical experience in penetrating keratoplasty, deep lamellar keratoplasty, and corneal endothelial transplantation.

He is a member of the Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society (TFOS) and the IEEE-SMD Intelligent Ophthalmology. His primary research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to diagnose ophthalmic diseases and developing robot-assisted techniques for ophthalmic microsurgery.
