Mr. K. Gobivel is a distinguished professional with over a decade of experience in research and academics within the field of mechanical engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering followed by a master’s degree in manufacturing engineering from SSN College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai with university rank. 

Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor senior scale at KCG College of Technology (Autonomous) and is in the final stage of completing his PhD at Anna University, Chennai. His doctoral research focuses on finite element (FE) modeling and machining of metal matrix composites. Mr. Gobivel's research interests include Finite element simulation in machining, Experimental techniques in machining, Manufacturing of nanocomposites and Tool wear studies. He authored 13 papers and published them with international journals.
