Renee Dickie holds a BSc in Zoology from the University of Toronto and earned her PhD in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, where she conducted her research in the laboratory of Dr. Marvalee Wake. She completed her postdoctoral training as an NIH fellow and research associate in the Molecular and Integrative Physiology Group at the Harvard School of Public Health. Currently, she serves as a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences at Towson University. Her research focuses on utilizing the axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) as a model organism to explore the interrelationship between angiogenesis and epimorphic regeneration.
