Dr. Reid obtained his BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he was first introduced to biomolecular NMR spectroscopy in John Markley’s laboratory. Reid’s PhD research, supervised by Ad Bax at the NIH and Justin Benesch and Andrew Baldwin at the University of Oxford, focused on the application of NMR to obtain mechanistic insight into protein folding and molecular chaperones. Presently, Reid is a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow in Lewis Kay’s laboratory at the University of Toronto.
