Dr. Lins has been a postdoctoral researcher at Hasselt University, Belgium, since 2021. She obtained her PhD in Biomolecular Physics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2021, complemented by an MBA in Organizational Leadership. During her doctoral studies, she focused on the design and development of biomimetic nanoparticles for cancer therapy, combining expertise in the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials and cell-derived nanoparticles, as well as the evaluation of their biological function.

Her current research expands this focus to the development and large-scale production of cell-derived nanoparticles as advanced therapeutic platforms for both cancer and disorders in which regeneration is needed, such as ischemic stroke. Dr. Lins’s work lies at the interface of nanotechnology and biomedicine, aiming to translate nanoscale innovations into clinically relevant strategies for regenerative medicine.
