Dr. Zayed is an associate professor of animal surgery at Qena University, Egypt, and a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Bioactive Material Sciences at the Korea Zoonosis Research Institute, Jeonbuk National University, Republic of Korea. He previously served as a visiting researcher during his PhD training at the Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine, Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. Dr. Zayed also completed three years of postdoctoral research at the Department of Stem Cell Biology, National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology, Japan. His research focuses on the molecular and cellular biology of stem cells, as well as the development of innovative strategies to promote tissue regeneration in both animals and humans.
