Jerónimo R. Miranda-Rodríguez is a researcher developing genomic approaches and resources to study regeneration in garden slugs. He holds a degree in genomic sciences and MSc and PhD degrees in biochemistry from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He completed postdoctoral training at the Helmholtz Zentrum in Munich, where he studied the development and regeneration of the lateral line in zebrafish. He is currently a junior researcher (Investigador Asociado C) at the Instituto de Neurobiología, UNAM. His research is providing new insights into the mechanisms of regeneration in the slug Deroceras laeve.
