Dr. Daldello is a post-doctoral researcher at the developmental biology laboratory of the Institut de Biologie Paris Seine (IBPS) (https://www.ibps.upmc.fr/en) at Sorbonne Université. Dr. Daldello obtained his PhD from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC) in 2015 for his studies on the molecular mechanisms regulating meiosis resumption and the inhibition of DNA replication during the meiotic divisions using the Xenopus oocytes model. After his PhD, Dr. Daldello conducted his postdoctoral research at the Center for Reproductive Science of the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).  Using the mouse oocyte model, Dr. Daldello studied the reciprocal regulation between meiotic divisions and de novo protein translation. During these years of research, he has been supported by the Lalor Foundation- Advancing Research and Innovation in Reproductive Health and ARC- Fondation pour la recherche sur le cancer. His current research aims at understanding how reversible phosphorylation and de-novo protein translation regulates M-phase entry and progression.
